In 1992 A trip to Egypt and the grand Mosque in Cairo, would lead to a huge adventure of beads! Outside the Mosque were bead sellers, and with some negotiation bargains were struck for quantities of beads. This was the first of a lifetime of international bead buying trips. In 1994 starting from mother’s garage in Huachuca City Arizona importing Czech Glass, and German Vintage glass, then driving around the country selling beads in 44 states was great, and it is where the name came from! As we imported more and more beads we moved to Tucson. In April 1997 we found our current location @ 355 E Ft. Lowell Rd. Little did we know at the time that the very first Tucson Gem and Mineral Show was held just three blocks South of this shop in the Keeling Junior High school cafeteria. We continued to grow and opened our second shop in NorthWest Tucson at 3725 W. Ina Rd at Thornydale. We think of ourselves as part of the community, supporting local non-profits, schools, shelters, and special programs by providing beads, instruction, and fund raisers to worthy causes. Central Location Map to our Retail Store
From Interstate 10, take the Miracle Mile exit and the only direction you can go is East. Proceed east to Oracle road and turn left. Immediately get into the right lane and turn right onto Fort Lowell. From Oracle road proceed East through one light, then about half a block ahead on the left you will see a very colorful, cute building with BEADS. Parking on the street next to the building is the easiest. See you there!
